Week 1: Getting Started

This week, you have 3 goals:

1. Become familiar with the LEGO NXT Program. 
2. Agree on a project.
3. Connect your project to a curriculum area.

LEGO NXT Program

• STEM Centric has some great LEGO NXT programming tutorials.  
• This week, watch the NXT Introduction under essentials this week.

Agree on a Project

• Look at the project options on the NXT 1.0 Projects page.
• Agree on a project.
• Remember:  your project must connect to a curriculum area.

Connect your project to the curriculum area you chose

• Outline how the NXT robot you build will connect to the curriculum.

Remember to update your project planning sheet with your progress this week. You may also need to make changes to your project plan.  It will be a good idea to divide the work among team members instead of everyone trying to work on the same thing at the same time.
